Verdant Landscape Architecture is collaborating with Cruz Development and the Architectural Team to design the landscape for this mixed-use development in the heart of Nubian Square. The shared residential courtyard, located above the garage structure, is envisioned as a vibrant outdoor extension of the living environment.

The courtyard is directly connected to the condominium lobby and the public plaza below, creating a seamless transition between public and private spaces. Access to interior amenity areas, along with private backyard patios serving both condominium and apartment units, reinforces a strong indoor–outdoor relationship throughout the site.

A series of thoughtfully scaled gathering areas—including a communal dining and BBQ zone, flexible-use synthetic lawn, and a variety of seating options—supports everyday use as well as larger social moments. Contoured, intensive planting beds introduce greenery, privacy, and seasonal interest, softening the urban context while creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents.

Together, the courtyard functions as a central amenity—bringing light, landscape, and community to the heart of the development.
