The landscape vision preserves the site’s pastoral character while enhancing the guest experience from arrival to ceremony, reception, and departure. Each landscape element is carefully designed to frame views, guide movement, and create moments of beauty and retreat throughout the property.

A new entry drive through open meadow establishes a serene first impression, maintaining wide pastoral views and a timeless rural character. As guests transition into the forested approach, new trees and understory plantings restore and enrich the woodland edge, softening disturbed areas and reinforcing a sense of arrival.

Thoughtfully landscaped parking areas are buffered with trees and planting to provide shade and visual screening, while discreet seating offers quiet places for guests to pause or reflect. From there, a welcoming entrance walkway leads guests toward the barn, connecting the parking area to the base of the iconic rose stairs with layered planting and seasonal interest.

Throughout the site, native and resilient planting strategies support long-term sustainability. Stormwater basins are designed as naturalized landscape features, using native seed mixes and shrubs that thrive in both wet and dry conditions. Along service routes, evergreen buffers discreetly screen vendor access, preserving the elegance of the guest experience.

At the heart of the venue, the pond landscape is enhanced with ornamental trees and shrubs to create a romantic backdrop for ceremonies and photographs. Improvements beneath the lower level of the bank barn transform a formerly utilitarian space into a warm, inviting environment—featuring decorative hardscape elements, seasonal planters, soft greenery, and ambient lighting to support evening events.

Planting throughout the property favors soft whites and blush tones, complemented by trees and shrubs selected for rich autumn color—ensuring Willow Hill remains visually stunning across seasons.
